Testosterone for women over 40 is the conversation almost no doctor will start with you, so I'm starting it. These are the ten things I wish I'd known about testosterone before I ever asked a doctor for it, from the magic number every doctor chases that doesn't exist, to the one test almost all of them run wrong, to the exact words to say at your appointment so nobody laughs you out of the office again.

This one is for every woman who's been told her exhaustion, her low libido, and her missing spark are just her age. I'm a skincare founder and a clinical nutritionist, and I've spent $1.3 million figuring out what actually works on a woman's body over 40, hormones included. First I get into what testosterone actually did for me, which I found out the hard way when I accidentally ran out for two weeks, why you are not too young to be having this conversation, and why so many women get told their labs are "normal" while they feel nothing like themselves. Then I walk through the form they don't warn you about, the doctor who told my friend to just be grateful her husband still finds her attractive, why it's rarely just testosterone, and the exact playbook I'd use to walk into an appointment and not get dismissed.

I'm 49, and these are the 10 things I actually do that make me look and feel hot AF after 40. Some of them are about my skin, my clothes, and my heels. The one that made the biggest difference has nothing to do with Botox, filler, treatments, or anything I can buy. Want Your Free Personalized Hot AF Plan? Take the quiz Join The Vanity Club. Under-eye filler was the wrong fix for almost everything I was actually trying to fix, and I found that out after years and a stupid amount of money spent on my own face. What most people call under-eye aging is really five completely different problems, hollowing, darkness, crepey skin, fine lines, and true bags, and filler is only built for one of them. This is exactly what I do instead now, and how to figure out which under-eye problem is actually yours before you spend a dollar. Things I Mentioned: Rewritten Show The Face Up serum My eye retinol My peptide eye cream My at-home radiofrequency device
If I had to start over at 40, knowing everything I know now after spending $1.3 million on beauty, these are the ten things I'd do first, in the order that actually works. This is the anti-aging roadmap for women over 40 I wish someone had handed me, and no, Botox isn't one of them.
