Show Notes
Disco House, Funky House vibes for 2020 — Disco Yeah! is a summer close-out mix built to warm late-season pool parties and living-room dance-offs. This episode gathers contemporary Disco House, NuDisco, and Jackin’ House across a two-and-a-half-hour set designed to keep grooves rolling while nodding to classic hooks and vocal reworks.
Highlights include Michael Gray’s Ian Ossia remix of “Take Me Back,” two Dr. Packer reworks of Loleatta Holloway’s “Runaway” and “Hit and Run,” and Angelo Ferreri’s patient, vocal-forward take on Joe T. Vannelli vs. Eartha Kitt’s “Where Is My Man.” DJ Aiblo’s faithful revamp of Kool & the Gang’s “Too Hot” and The Shapeshifters with Billy Porter on “Finally Ready” add modern polish to familiar material. The sequence mixes deep edits, disco-inflected house, and jackin’ grooves for a seamless end-of-summer flow that’s equal parts nostalgic and club-ready.
