Show Notes

Working from home during the pandemic in a corporate job, Nathan Anthony was quite literally, Bored of Lunch. And so he challenged himself to create handy, healthy recipes that could be whipped up at speed between Zoom calls. Enter the airfryer. A few short years later and if you don’t own an airfryer or a copy of Bored of Lunch, chances are you know someone who does. In this episode of The Nibbies Podcast, host Hannah MacInnes chats to Nathan about the rollercoaster ride that took him from his kitchen in Northern Ireland to the bestseller charts, running out of books when the printer closed over the Christmas break and how his family keep his feet on solid ground.

The British Book Awards, fondly referred to as The Nibbies, celebrate books and everyone who makes them, charting a journey from the writer’s mind to the reader’s hand. This podcast series delves deeper into the journeys behind the Books of the Year, as broadcaster and podcast host Hannah MacInnes interviews a bestselling and celebrated author for each episode. The podcast is produced by Heavy Entertainment and brought to you by The Bookseller, the team behind The British Book Awards.
