Show Notes
Our hosts return to the podcave to review “Animal Act," a very average episode of TNBA.
Alex and Will dig into why this marks the final DCAU appearance of the Mad Hatter, and celebrate just how perfect Roddy McDowell was in the role. They discuss Hatter’s ever-evolving mind-control tech and his simple desire to just watch the people of Gotham smash.
Meanwhile, Dick Grayson revisits his circus roots, reflects on his old life, and endures the ultimate insult—being called fat by the Fat Lady.
Our hosts also touch on Batman’s absolute refusal to admit when someone sneaks up on him, Dick’s inexplicable love for Japan (despite never having been), and the crucial revelation that Mad Hatter and Ra's al Ghul are now locked in a fierce rivalry on the amateur rap battle circuit.
