The NBA Playoffs are delivering chaos, history, and heartbreak — and Big Shot Bob Robert Horry, host Rob Jenners, and B-Dog Brandon Harper are breaking it ALL down on Episode 257 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast! The Orlando Magic are one win away from completing one of the most stunning upsets in NBA postseason history — knocking off the #1 seed Detroit Pistons as an 8-seed. What's gone wrong for Cade Cunningham and the Pistons, and can they save their season on home floor? Robert Horry knows something about coming back from 3-1 deficits — he lived it with the 1995 Houston Rockets.
The OKC Thunder close out the Phoenix Suns in a clean sweep, looking like the most complete team in the West. With SGA dropping 31 in the clincher and a bench that could start anywhere in the league, is anyone actually beating these guys? Then it's the Denver Nuggets fighting to stay alive against Minnesota — Joker posts a 27/16/12, Aaron Gordon goes OFF for 43 off the bench in Game 4, but the Timberwolves are healthy and hungry. Can Denver find a way? The guys debate coaching, defense, and whether the NBA owes us a Wemby vs. Jokic matchup.
In the East, the New York Knicks celebrate a Game 4 win with some famous Magic City Wings — and Lou Will has thoughts. Will Jalen Johnson step up for Atlanta in a hostile MSG environment? Robert Horry shares his perspective on why playing on the road was actually easier for him. In Philly, Joel Embiid returns from appendix surgery and the Sixers still get blown out by 32. Is it finally time for the 76ers to move on? And the Toronto Raptors have breathed life into their series against Cleveland — is Rob Jenners' "shaky branch" take looking more solid?
Plus — Victor Wembanyama goes down with a frightening fall in Game 2, misses Game 3, then comes back in Game 4 to put up a stat line only matched by Hakeem Olajuwon. His numbers? A real life category: 25+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 7+ blocks. At 22 years old. The guys close out with this year's NBA Award Winners — including the unanimous Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Player, and the MVP race between Shay, Joker, and Wemby. And they play this week's trivia game: Off the Court — surprising hobbies and hidden talents of NBA legends, from Calvin Murphy's national championship to Karl Malone's CDL license.

More from Big Shot Bob Pod with Robert Horry
NBA SEASON IS BACK!!! And the crew is... mostly back. Harp phones in from the casino floor at Harrah's Cherokee Valley River in Murphy, North Carolina, Robert Horry is squeezing us in before a flight, and Rob Jenners is just glad real basketball tips off tonight.
Episode 280, and B-Dawg is somewhere out on the ocean on a Carnival cruise, so it's Robert Horry and Rob Jenners holding it down. Bob's calling in from Vegas, where he's working the Lakers preseason game for season ticket holders. That gets the guys talking about the new ownership, what it means to be a Lakers legend, and why Bob respects teams like the Rockets that keep bringing back the older guys who never saw the big money. (Also: Bob is never getting on a cruise ship. Jaws, the Titanic, the Poop Cruise and a 6'2" shower for a 6'9" man. Case closed.)
Friday Shoot Around. Harp is somewhere recovering from a week of NLDS parties, so it's Big Shot Bob and Rob. Rob opens by telling Bob he never has to apologize for springing Allie Clifton on him Tuesday, and then it's straight into the story everybody kept asking about: Gregg Popovich marrying Mary Beth Budenholzer. Bob knows her personally, and his take is simple. Love is love, Pop needs somebody right now, and if anyone deserves a roast it's Bud.
Harp is across the street working the Braves-Dodgers NLDS game, so it's Big Shot Bob and Rob this week. Rob had a surprise sitting in the waiting room, though. Allie Clifton jumps on in the middle of her walk to talk WNBA playoffs: the Dream and Angel Reese, Becky Hammon's "play like ass and only lose by 10" speech, and who actually got her MVP vote. Then she reminds Bob he never won Defensive Player of the Year, and the Ohio State vs. Alabama trash talk starts.
Episode 278 gets recorded with a playoff game going on about 500 feet away. The Braves and Phillies are playing the NL Wild Card at Truist Park, so B-Dawg spends the first part of the show downstairs dealing with the chaos before he finally makes it in. It's been a day, and you can see it on his face.
