אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵֽינוּ אֵיךְ נִפְתַּח פֶּה לְפָנֶיךָ, דַּר מְתוּחִים. בְּאֵלּוּ פָנִים נִשְׁפֹּךְ שִׂיחִים: גָּעַלְנוּ נְתִיבוֹתֶיךָ הַיְּשָׁרִים וְהַנְּכֹחִים. דָּבַקְנוּ בְתוֹעֵבוֹת וּבְמַעֲשִׂים זְנוּחִים: הָלַכְנוּ אַחֲרַי מַשְּׂאוֹת שָׁוְא וּמַדֻּחִים. וְהִקְשִׁינוּ עֹרֶף וְהֵעַזְנוּ מְצָחִים: זָעַמְתָּ בְּשֶׁלָּנוּ, בֵּית מִשְׁכְּנוֹת מִבְטָחִים. חָרַב וּפַס רֵיחַ נִיחֹחִים: טֹרָדוּ וְטֻלְטָלוּ כֹּהֲנִים מְשׁוּחִים. יוֹדְעֵי עֵרֶךְ עוֹלוֹת וּזְבָחִים: כַּמָּה יִסַּרְתָּנוּ עַל־יְדֵי צִירִים וּשְׁלוּחִים. לֹא הִקְשַׁבְנוּ לִשְׁמֹעַ לְמוֹכִיחִים: מֵאָז וְעַד עַתָּה אֲנַחְנוּ נִדָּחִים. נֶהֱרָגִים וְנִשְׁחָטִים וְנִטְבָּחִים: שֹׂרַדְנוּ מְתֵי מְעַט בֵּין קוֹצִים כְּסוּחִים. עֵינֵינוּ כָלוֹת בְּלִי מְצֹא רְוָחִים: פּוֹרְכֵי עַמְּךָ אֲשֶׁר לַבֵּל שׁוֹחֲחִים. צֶפֶר וָעֶרֶב לָמָּה מַצְלִיחִים: קָמִים לְמוּלָךָ נְאָצוֹת שׂוֹחֲחִים. רְצוּצִים, בַּמָּה אַתֶּם בּוֹטְחִים: שׁוֹכֵן עַד וְקָדוֹשׁ, צְפֵה בְּעֶלְבּוֹן אֲנוּחִים. תְּמוּכִים עָלֶיךָ וּבְךָ מוּתְאָחִים: בְּנוֹרָאוֹת יְמִינְךָ נִוָּשֵׁעַה לִנְצָחִים. כִּי עַל רַחֲמֶיךָ הָרַבִּים אָנוּ בְטוּחִים:
