Show Notes
We've rewound all the way back to the beginning this week - and the first month of the podcast. The original billing read: "Kate Thornton poses three questions to three well-known faces over three glasses of wine. On this episode: Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, The Worst Witch star Nicola Stephenson and The Detail lead Angela Griffin"
We will be BACK with brand new episodes after our summer break in a couple of weeks - watch out for that we're already lining-up some fabulous guests and planning something big for our 500th episode in early October.
Cheers! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
More from White Wine Question Time
Without Oz Clarke there might not be a White Wine Question Time. Is possible we'd have called this podcast Gin & Tonic Question Time (Coming soon to a podcast platform near you!) It's absolutely fair to say that Oz, alongside Jilly Goolden, changed the we we drink. But wine tasting was a skill and hobby he'd developed at Oxford University and he was well on his way to becoming a West End Star when opportunity knocked on the 80s TV show 'Food & Drink' thanks to the television brain of Peter Bazelgette (who later went on to turn Big Brother into an enormous hit).
We're adding another national treasure to the White Wine Question Time collection - Sir Derek Jacobi.
By any measure Jake Humphrey is a High Performer - whether it's his highly accomplished career as a TV presenter, the TV Production company (Whisper) he co-owns with a turnover of £100m+, or the collection of podcasts under the 'High Performance' umbrella. But his story is much more fascinating than most media moguls. Several times he's walked away from the top tier jobs most presenters dream of to spend more quality time with his family. It's only when you chat to Jake that you get a real understanding of the man behind those decisions, who loves to take risks, but seems to win every time.
What a joy it is to have Reverend Richard Coles back on the podcast.
