Show Notes
Citizen D steps out from behind the blurred face to reveal what really happens inside the secretive world of crop-circle makers. Humans create the formations—but who inspires the designs? Strange lights, prophetic dreams, missing time and impossible synchronicities suggest something else may be guiding the hands that flatten the fields.
GUEST: Citizen D is a crop-circle insider and author of It Can't Be People: Voices From the Inner Circle. Once convinced crop circles must have a non-human origin, he spent years immersed in England’s clandestine circlemaking community, eventually participating in the creation of formations himself. What he discovered overturned his assumptions: humans can produce astonishingly sophisticated circles—but the makers themselves report phenomena they cannot explain, including strange lights, time anomalies, prophetic dreams, apparitions, synchronicities and mysterious compulsions to create specific designs in specific locations. Citizen D’s provocative conclusion is that admitting humans make the circles doesn’t solve the mystery. It may reveal a much deeper one.

More from Richard Syrett's Strange Planet
What really happens at Burning Man after dark? Investigative journalist Alex Newman ventures deep into the Nevada desert, uncovering disturbing accounts of occult rituals, spirit channeling, psychedelic encounters with mysterious entities, and the gathering's powerful Silicon Valley connections. Is this merely radical self-expression, or something far more sinister?
He was riddled with tumours, suffering heart complications, and in such agony he could barely operate a TV remote. Then came a near-death experience, an encounter with mysterious beings, and an astonishing recovery he attributes to the smallest molecule in the universe. Richard Syrett meets Greg the Hydrogen Man.
What if you're not really in charge of your own body? Richard Syrett welcomes Dr. Sean O'Mara to expose the astonishing microbial universe inside us, the invisible organisms influencing our cravings, and the dangerous fat hiding around our organs. Can his revolutionary Living Diet reclaim our health from within?
What if the price you pay depends on how desperate you are? Investigative journalist Sarah Westall joins Richard Syrett to expose the unsettling world of AI shopping surveillance, secret consumer profiles and algorithmic pricing. Are corporations merely tracking our purchases, or learning exactly how much they can squeeze from us?
What if the gods of ancient Egypt never disappeared? Richard welcomes Lucious Lyran, who claims to have communicated telepathically with non-human intelligences. From the Anunnaki and humanity’s mysterious origins to UFO encounters and the entity known as “the Lady,” Lyran explores a disturbing possibility: the ancient gods are still here.
