Alberto Núñez Feijo, the candidate for the Partido Popular in the upcoming elections, outlines his plans to address controversial issues such as abortion and euthanasia if he assumes power. He proposes that minors should require parental consent for abortions, arguing that it is essential for young individuals to involve their parents in significant decisions. Feijo also expresses intent to reform the euthanasia law, emphasizing that the role of medical professionals should be more prominent in the decision-making process.

In addition to these social issues, Feijo indicates a desire to eliminate the Ministry of Equality and to reactivate the Pacto de Toledo regarding pensions, ensuring they are adjusted according to inflation. However, he remains non-committal about raising the minimum wage, stating that any increase would depend on negotiations with both unions and employers.

Feijo comments on the recent visit of Argentine President Javier Milei, acknowledging that while he does not agree with Milei's rhetoric, he finds his economic policies more sensible than those of previous administrations in Argentina. He refrains from condemning Milei's derogatory remarks about Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
