in conversation with the Auditor General | sgwrs gyda'r Archwilydd Cyffredinol

Mae Cymru'n gwario tua £28 biliwn ar wasanaethau cyhoeddus - bron i draean o'i chynnyrch domestig gros. Er gwaethaf hyn, mae llawer o gyrff cyhoeddus yn cael trafferth bodloni'r galw am wasanaethau a pharhau i fod yn gynaliadwy yn ariannol. Mae angen dulliau newydd ar frys ac yn y bennod gyntaf, bydd Adrian yn myfyrio ar y gwydnwch a ddangoswyd yn ystod y pandemig. Amser ofnadwy i gymaint o bobl, ond cyfnod a ddangosodd y gorau o wasanaethau cyhoeddus, unedig ar sail nod cyffredin ac yn gweithredu gyda'r hyblygrwydd, y cyflymder a'r cydweithrediad a ddylai fod y sefyllfa arferol.

Wales spends around £28 billion on public services - almost a third of its GDP. Despite this many public bodies are struggling to meet demand for services and remain financially sustainable. New approaches are urgently needed and in episode one, Adrian reflects on the resilience shown during the pandemic. A dreadful time for so many, but a period that showed the best of public services, united around common goal and operating with the flexibility, pace and collaboration that should become the standard.
