In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Marconi award winning radio host Dan Mandis fills in for the guys this week and we begin by trying to indentify the real Ilhan Omar. Ilhan Omar is not the "real name" of the Minnesota congresswoman. Her real name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, according to two people familiar with the ongoing investigation into the Somali-born congresswoman, including a law enforcement source. And if proven in court that Omar has lived her "entire life under an alias," a former Minnesota federal immigration judge tells Fox News Digital that every single form she ever filled out could be "called into question." President Trump is calling for her resignation. DNA results are still pending.
In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Marconi award winning radio host Dan Mandis fills in for the guys this week and we discuss the Russian diesel deal. Ukraine’s drone strikes on Russian refineries have grown to such a scale, reach and effectiveness that they have crippled the world’s second-largest diesel exporter. The Ukrainians are regularly launching swarms of drones that number in the hundreds. They are also striking refineries much deeper in Russian territory. Kyiv learned to target complex refinery equipment that is harder to repair and diesel prices have surged due to the wars in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Marconi award winning talk show host Dan Mandis fills in for the guys this week and we begin tonight with a political ad that hits below the belt. Vice President JD Vance, during a rally in Cincinnati on Wednesday, praised Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for having the "audacity" to cut a controversial ad featuring his Democratic opponent Amy Acton's estranged mother calling her daughter a "liar" -- a move that has sparked bipartisan backlash. The ad, which circulated on social media late Monday, shows Acton's long-estranged mother, Donna Arthur, saying that she loves her daughter but that "Amy has a serious problem" and has lied about her past and her struggles growing up. The ad came nearly two weeks out from the high-stakes midterm elections where Ohio is home to not only a gubernatorial race, but also key Senate and House races that could determine the balance of power in Congress.
In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Marconi award winning talk show host Dan Mandis fills in for the guys this week and continues discussing the political ad in Ohio that's making headlines. The ad features former Director of the Ohio DOH Amy Acton's estranged mother, who accused her daughter of lying about her childhood and of having to live in a tent. Ramaswamy is standing by the ad this afternoon, as the Acton campaign explains that her mother lost custody of her after prosecutors charged her husband with raping Acton, as previously reported.
In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Marconi award winning radio host Dan Mandis fills in for the guys this week and we begin with something the President said. President Trump used an antisemitic slur Monday in defending Sen. Roger Marshall after an article said he sued hundreds of patients over unpaid debts when he was a practicing physician. Speaking at a campaign rally in Kansas, Trump said the reporting made Marshall, who is not Jewish, out to be “some kind of a shylock-type guy,” using a term widely recognized as offensive toward Jewish people. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Trump’s remarks.
