Show Notes
On this episode of My World, Jeff Jarrett and Conrad Thompson dive headfirst into some of the hottest debates shaping today's wrestling landscape, blending old school wisdom with modern day controversy. Jeff kicks things off by questioning whether All Elite Wrestling should plant its flag in New York City and make Double or Nothing a permanent destination event. From there, he tackles the ongoing criticism of AEW, pushing back on the narrative and making the case that compelling stories are being told if you know where to look. The conversation takes a nostalgic turn as Jeff teases the return of in-ring magic inspired by Mick Foley, breaking down what he calls "The Foley Formula" the emotional, unpredictable style that made Foley a legend and why it still works today. Jarrett doesn't hold back when discussing WWEID's reported efforts to lock down independent talent from using their indie names on bookings, calling the strategy "ridiculous" and exploring what it means for the future of the indie scene. Plus, Jeff shines a spotlight on Danhausen, declaring that his time is right now. And in a wild twist, the episode wraps with Jeff reacting to ChatGPT booking an AEW main event, giving his unfiltered thoughts on how it stacks up against real world creative.
