More from Leave It On The Dance Floor
Did you miss us, ALDC Elites?! We’re back with a brand-new episode of Leave It On The Dance Floor!
It's an exciting episode this week as we welcome ALDC LA standout performer and Abby's dance assistant, Scarlett Grace Petty, to the podcast!
This week on the podcast, Abby is joined by Chloe Smith’s mom, Liza Smith, for a candid conversation about Chloe’s journey to Dance Moms and the moments fans never got to see behind the scenes. Liza shares how Chloe first got started in dance, what led their family to Abby Lee Miller and the ALDC, and what the audition process was really like from a parent’s perspective. She also reveals the terrifying blizzard that nearly prevented them from making it to Chloe’s final audition — the one that ultimately changed their lives forever.
This week on the podcast, Abby is joined by former Dance Moms competitor Chloe Smith, who appeared on seasons 5 through 7 representing Cathy’s Candy Apples as one of the ALDC’s fiercest rivals. Chloe shares the untold story of how her journey with the show actually began years earlier, revealing that she had been auditioning for Dance Moms since 2012 and even danced alongside the ALDC behind the scenes at a competition in Pittsburgh long before fans officially saw her on television. She opens up about finally getting the life-changing call that she would be joining the show, and the complicated emotions that came with realizing she’d be competing against Abby — someone she had admired, trained with behind the scenes, and idolized for years. From intense competition days to the pressure of reality TV drama, Chloe reflects on the experience that changed her life forever.
This week on the podcast, Abby is joined by dancer, singer, actress, and social media star Jordyn Jones for a full-circle conversation about her journey from competitive dance prodigy to multi-talented entertainer. Jordyn reflects on how she first connected with Abby and earned her spot on Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, sharing what it was like stepping into such an intense environment at a young age and the lessons she still carries with her today. From unforgettable routines and behind-the-scenes memories fans never got to see, to discussing whether she ever considered joining the ALDC on Dance Moms, this episode dives deep into one of the most memorable eras of Abby’s television career.
