Remember Who YOU Are | Lifepointe Church | Nate Siemon

Show Notes

When we feel like we've lost our way or feel unworthy of God's presence/glory, REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!

Peter tells us in chapter 2 that we are living stones to be used as cornerstones in Christ, we are holy priests to represent God to common people, and we're His chosen people. Jesus chose all of us when he died on the cross. And even when Peter denied him three times and fled the crucifixion, Jesus still sought him out and redeemed him afterward. You're never too lost or too far gone for Jesus.

Heaven's a hard place to describe because none of us have ever been there. There's a lot of misconception that it'll be a magical place above in the clouds, but what does the Bible actually say about Heaven? Turns out, it'll be a lot more similar to Earth than you realize. It'll be the restoring of Earth back to it's original form that God intended and He will dwell with his people. Heaven promises reunion, to be rid of pain, and rewards. But in order to receive these rewards, you have to ask yourself this question while still here on Earth: What did you do with what God gave you?

One of the most hotly debated topics of Revelation is whether or not Christians will experience tribulation here on earth before Christ's return. The quick answer: YES! Every day is a battle of tribulation against the dragon of this world (Satan), the beast that we mistakenly trust (government), and the harlot that is ever tempting (culture). Luckily, God gave us a savior from these evil foes in Jesus Christ and you can break the strongholds of sin in your life if you rebuke them in Jesus name and cast them out with prayer.
