Hello! We've hinted at this a bit but, for the past two months we've been finalising a deal with Headstuff and we're delighted to say we'll be officially joining their podcast network this month. Basically it means we'll be making more steady money, we'll have a fancy studio to use, but it also means we'll be shutting down the Patreon. We'll be back uploading regular episodes later this month, and you'll still have access to all the mainfeed bits as usual, but the bonus stuff will be over on Headstuff's platform, Headstuff+. We're going to leave the Patreon up for now with the payments turned off (so no one should be getting charged for it any more, please send me a message if you are!) and we'll keep uploading most of the bonus content to Patreon as we transition over, but eventually all the Cowboy Specials, the Film Clubs, the sequels, etc. will be exclusive to Headstuff+. We recorded this episode to catch up over the past few weeks, and in classic form I lost the SD card for a week then realised one of the mics wasn't turned on properly. This is why we need Headstuff to look after us. We'll have the Devil's Own Film Club episode out tomorrow (after I fix the audio) but we just wanted to thank you all for all your support over the last six years, and we're looking forward to getting these new episodes out soon! Hello! We're back with another film club episode; Lenny Abrahamson's 2007 film Garage. Possibly Pat Short's debut as a serious film actor and by god it's depressing, but definitely worth a watch. We've also started a Letterboxd list of every Irish film we could think of if you want to check it, and feel free to leave suggestions for more movies below!
