Three weeks into the NFL season and somehow we’re more confused than ever. Fitz & Whit try to make sense of the bizarre start to the season, but remember, September is just the trailer. We’re going to find out a lot more about these teams when the real story starts to unfold.
Then, the guys address the question nobody wants to ask…Is Drake Maye the problem? He just might be. They break down what’s gone wrong before getting into one of the biggest themes of the season: EVERYONE IS LYING. Defenses are disguising, offenses are scheming, and nothing is what it seems.
Plus, Hall of Famer Joe Thomas joins Fitz & Whit to preview Steelers-Browns on Thursday Night Football and talk about what’s really going on with his former team. And don’t forget to check out his very own Hall of Fame Farms at https://www.halloffamefarms.com/

More from Fitz & Whit | Ryan Fitzpatrick & Andrew Whitworth
Fitz & Whit take a closer look at Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos, breaking down what they’ve seen from the young quarterback so far and what Denver needs from its quarterback, coaching staff, and locker room to get back on track.
Fitz & Whit are breaking down the West divisions, and there’s no shortage of questions. The 49ers look like the best team in football, but are the Rams better than their record suggests? Will turnovers be the downfall of the Seahawks, and what’s next for Arizona after the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade?
We’ve officially reached the quarter mark of the NFL season, so Fitz and Whit take a look at what they’ve learned, what’s surprised them, and what they still can’t figure out. The guys reveal some of their favorite position groups before trying to make sense of the surprising NFC East, where the Giants are 3-1 and somehow sitting on top, the Eagles are trying to find their footing, Washington is searching for answers, and the Cowboys still look like the team to beat.
Fitz and Whit are back from an unforgettable trip to Buffalo, sharing their favorite stories from the road before asking the big question in Atlanta…can Michael Penix Jr. be the answer for the Falcons? Then, the Bills, Eagles, Broncos, Rams, and Chargers are put through The Gauntlet, as Fitz and Whit debate whether this three-week stretch against 2025 playoff teams will jump-start their seasons or mark the beginning of the end for them.
Week 2 is here & the guys are finally back on the road for Thursday Night Football!
