Marcia Lucas has passed away. She edited the original Star Wars and won an Oscar for it alongside Paul Hirsch and Richard Chew. She's the one who told George Lucas to let Obi-Wan die, cut the Death Star trench run out of 40,000 feet of footage, added the ticking clock for the Death Star firing on Yavin, and kept the kiss for luck between Luke and Leia. A New Hope doesn't work without her, and most people don't even know her name. In this video I want to talk about what she really gave us. Rest in peace, Marcia. Thank you for everything. Is Star Wars Jedi 3 coming in 2027? A Star Wars leaker named FivesWalker posted on X that the third game in Cal Kestis' story is set for next year, and that marketing will start sooner than people expect, possibly even before The Game Awards on December 10th. EA and Respawn haven't commented, and no release window has been officially announced.
Dave Filoni says Ahsoka Season 2 will be weird in the sense we will get a split show with half being classic Star Wars feel and the other being about Mortis gods (maybe Abeloth?)
The fourth trilogy in Star Wars seems like it is happening, directed by Jon Watts and WRITTEN by Simon Kinberg. Kinberg co-created Star Wars Rebels and has been developing a new trilogy for Lucasfilm since 2024, and Watts brought us Skeleton Crew. In this video we go through what's actually been reported, where this trilogy fits after The Rise of Skywalker, and what this could mean for the future of Star Wars on the big screen.
