Scott Weddle of Amelia (Season Three-The Appening-011-May 15, 2020)
Radio8Ball hosted by Andras JonesShow Notes
SCOTT WEDDLE was in the band Portland band AMELIA when they were the guests on Radio8Ball on KAOS in Olympia in January of 2006. Their song "France" came up as the answer to JENNY JENKINS' question on last week's episode. It was a potent Mother's Day synchronicity. Scott joins this session with host ANDRAS JONES to talk about the song, the reading and his late songwriting partner TEISHA HELGERSON. Scott has his own question for The Pop Oracle and gets as his answer a song from our host in an episode that includes music from MIRANDA LEE RICHARDS, DAN BERN & ELENI MANDELL. Recorded on May 15, 2020.

It's a surprise bonus Radio8Ball episode in support of Alan Abbadessa’s Kickstarter campaign for his video game LITTLE GHOST.
This is the end of Season Three: The Appening. Host Andras Jones assays the remains of this cloistered season which began on February 4, 2020 when R. Walt Vincent asked if he was worrying too much about the “novel” flu he was reading about coming out of China. And now we're closing it out with this session recorded on July 8th, 2021 featuring Paul Williams (the director), Common Rotation (with Dan Bern & John C. Reilly), Jon Auer, Zak Nilsson & Don Heffington. .
There's a season finale with an explanation of our absence coming on 8/8. In this special episode we celebrate the life of Chuck E. Weiss who left us on July 20, 2021.
Our 666th podcast episode is an exploration of the archetype of the devil, and its relationship to the high priestess. When WILL MORGAN of the Meta-Egg YouTube channel invited host ANDRAS JONES to join his show to discuss Marvel's new WandaVision series it opened up a sync-whole of blackness, beauty and heroism that spanned across both shows.
In the first Pop Oracle divination of Gregorian 2021 ANDRAS JONES welcomes AARON J. LEONARD, the author of The Folk Singers & the Bureau to engage some synchronicity and discuss the history of American Communists during the week of Trump's attempted coup. Featuring music from STEVE POLTZ, RANDY KAPLAN, ALEX LILLY & ANDRAS JONES. Recorded on January 13th, 2021.
