The number one way to build self confidence, is to follow through on the commitments you make to yourself. The thing is, we generally make BIG commitments, like: I'm going to start this workout program and not miss a day, its 60 minutes a day for 60 days. I'm doing my diet for real this time. No more sugar, carbs, junk food, alcohol, etc. I am going to build this side hustle into something great so that I can leave my full time job Etc. Etc. But, then, when things get hard, because it is too much pressure or too much of a departure from your normal life, you give up. And, when you give up consistently over time, you hemorrhage trust with yourself. You learn that you can't count on you. You learn that you are ok with disappointing yourself, as long as you're not disappointing others. In todays episode I walk you through how to start building that trust back… with micro goals. Things that don't require a TON from you, but require just enough to build that mind management and stay committed to your goal. Things that, as you do them, you learn you actually CAN do hard things, just not all at once. Join me as I share how you can set micro goals to build your self confidence, and set yourself up for that massive goal you have on your vision board. And don't forget, I'm still running the beta test for my membership that is launching in the new year, and I would LOVE to have you join us! You will get access to the Intentional Living course that I just wrapped up, as well as weekly live coaching calls. Details are in the episode, or found here: ashliemolstad.com/intentional-you

In chatting with a client this week, we unpacked an old belief she has about herself and what being successful means. She had it in her head that success looks a certain way, so she is always trying to achieve more, make more, be more. But recently she stopped and asked herself what truly makes her happy- and it wasn't her bank account or title.
This week we have another mailbag situation. The specifics of this are around political differences within a family, and how to move through them… but the overall takeaway from this podcast is how to navigate when people do things differently than you and you find yourself judging them because of it.
One of my fave topics! This comes up so frequently in my coaching and mentoring sessions: "I feel like I am made of more but I am paralyzed by fear." Cool. Welcome to being human.
Sometimes parenting is about parenting. And sometimes parenting is about re-parenting ourselves.
Today you get part two of my conversation with Raina, where we dive into what has happened since she finished writing her book, Bare.
