Show Notes
This podcast is for anyone with an interest in feeding babies, whether they’re exclusively breastfeeding, chestfeeding, mixed feeding, expressing, still waiting for their baby to arrive, or thinking about stopping. In this episode we look at how new mothers/parents can establish a good supply of milk for their babies, the role of hormones, and the importance of frequent, effective feeding. We know that breastfeeding is not just a physiological process, and this comes up in our discussion of how mothers'/parents' confidence in breastfeeding is so often undermined in our culture. If you're having difficulties or doubts, please do call the NCT Feeding Line to speak to us or our colleagues, on 0300 3300 700 option 1. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
