Show Notes
On this episode of the Acid For Squares Podcast, hosts Tanya Dahl and Cody Blue sit down with Emilio Ortiz, spiritual teacher, and host of the Just Tap In Podcast, a show exploring consciousness, spirituality, and the mysteries surrounding humanity’s evolution. Through his work, Emilio has interviewed leading voices across spirituality, science, mindset, and consciousness while traveling the world in search of deeper answers about who we are, why we’re here, and where humanity may be headed.
Emilio opens up about the unlikely path that led him here. Immersed in party culture at a young age, he eventually entered a period of suffering that forced him to confront the way he was living and search for something deeper. That search led him to experiment with meditation, where a profound vision changed the course of his life and set him on a path as a spiritual seeker. Emilio shares what he has discovered along the way, including how a psychedelic experience with mushrooms shifted his relationship with spirituality from belief to knowing. He also recounts a mysterious cosmic encounter in Egypt that fundamentally altered the way he understands reality. Together, Tanya, Cody, and Emilio explore synchronicity, altered states of consciousness, ancient wisdom, spiritual awakening, and the extraordinary experiences that can challenge everything we think we know about ourselves and the universe.
The conversation then turns from the personal to the collective as Emilio shares his perspective on where humanity stands during this period of rapid change, where he believes we may be headed, and the deeper lessons he feels we are being called to confront. From moving through fear and suffering to reconnecting with intuition and inner awareness, this episode explores what it means to stay grounded while the world around us, and perhaps our understanding of reality itself, continues to transform.
Episode #107 is a conversation about suffering becoming initiation, belief becoming experience, and what can happen when we stop searching outside ourselves for the answers and finally learn to just tap in.
