Show Notes
The Edmonton Oilers made a statement in the first Battle of Alberta of the season, shutting out the Calgary Flames 4-0 to close out their five-game homestand in style! Tyler and Liam are back in studio on ON Everyday to break down everything from an emphatic rivalry win.
Tristan Jarry was sensational between the pipes, turning aside all 24 shots he faced to earn the shutout. But it wasn't just the goaltending that stood out, as Edmonton also got some much-needed depth scoring from Matthieu Joseph, Mattias Ekholm, and Alex Formenton. The Oilers finished their five-game homestand with a 3-1-1 record, and the boys will dig into the biggest performances, what this win means for the team, and whether Edmonton is starting to find its groove.
Plus, we've got a VERY special guest joining the show! Edmonton Elks quarterback Cody Fajardo stops by to talk about his recent stretch of Oilers games as a fan, the upcoming West Final next weekend, and more. Liam will also bring you a fresh edition of Liam's Board for the people before the boys wrap things up with their daily bets courtesy of bet365.

More from On Everyday with Tyler & Liam
IT’S BOA DAY! Tyler and Liam are back in studio on ON Everyday to get you ready for tonight’s showdown between the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames, as Edmonton closes out its five-game homestand with its biggest rivalry game of the season so far.
Boomer from Daily Faceoff Calgary joins the show to help preview the BOA, discuss Calgary’s crease situation between Devin Cooley and Dustin Wolf, and give his prediction for tonight’s matchup. Can the Flames keep their winning streak alive, or will the Oilers defend home ice and end their homestand with a rivalry win?
The Oilers let another one slip away. Tyler and Liam are back in studio on ON Everyday to break down Edmonton’s 4-3 shootout loss to the Detroit Red Wings, after the Oilers were unable to protect a late third-period lead and came away with just one point.
Jason Gregor stops by to examine the current state of the Oilers’ lineup and whether Edmonton needs to make a change to get things moving in the right direction.
