Episode 44 - The European road continues This week, we reflect on Shamrock Rovers' dramatic 2-1 victory over Ararat-Armenia in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round second leg. Despite the win on the night, Rovers fell 3-2 on aggregate, bringing their Champions League campaign to an end. We break down the performance, discuss where the tie was ultimately lost, and assess what the result means as the Hoops drop into the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round, where Albanian champions KF Egnatia await. We also discuss the signing of Will Fitzgerald, who was officially unveiled before kick-off in Tallaght. What does the former Drogheda United winger bring to Stephen Bradley's squad, where could he fit into the team, and could there be more business to come before the transfer window closes? Finally, we look ahead to Friday night's League of Ireland clash away to Drogheda United. After a physically and emotionally demanding European night, how much rotation should Rovers make?
