Dave takes us back to the beginning of his career, from his boyhood club Everton to the managerial breakthrough that came at Stockport County.

He reveals the story behind his move to Southampton and explains why he turned down the opportunity to return to Everton as manager.

Dave also opens up about the false allegations that threatened to destroy his life and career, and how football helped him through one of the most difficult periods of his life.

He reflects on his return to management with Wolves, leading the club to promotion to the Premier League, and why he believes he should have walked away after the play-off final at the Millennium Stadium.

Dave also discusses his time at Cardiff City and the achievement of securing his third promotion as a manager with Sheffield Wednesday.
