The Mailbox That Reappeared From a House Erased in 1951
Cold curiosity: a green mailbox marked 414 stands in a creek-side tree line with no house, no road within 200 yards, and an address that official county maps say was formally discontinued in 1963 - who wiped a home off the records, and why did one trustee write "this isn't right"?
In this episode, we present the documented events and testimonies connected to 414 Candler Reach Road, following Marie Rafferty's archival submission and two recorded interviews with Thomas Meyer to trace what happened to the Meyer household and the vanished address. Can the reappearance of a single mailbox reopen a record someone deliberately erased?
