The Jeremy White Show welcomes The Modern Evolve and Mike Turner!
Tales of touring with Van Halen and working with Bob Rock... Canadian Alternative Rock band The Modern Evolve and Mike Turner of Our Lady Peace chat about their collaboration on the new single "Fallen Heroes." Tony explained how the band formed in 2018 and released their first EP in 2021, while Mike shared how he was approached on social media to contribute a guitar solo to the track. The discussion covered the writing process, influences including U2 and the technical aspects of recording. We also talked with Mike about how modern digital gear has made it easier to achieve good tones while maintaining the importance of finding one's unique sound rather than imitating influences.
