Episode 15 of The Outback Tracks and Trails Podcast is live – and this is the final chapter of The Big NT Run!
After 80 incredible days on the road, we wrap up the last two weeks of the adventure. We start with a cracking night at the pub in Mission Beach, then continue south through Alligator Creek campsite, St Helens Beach, Rockhampton and Hervey Bay.
One of the absolute highlights of the entire trip was Fraser Island (K’gari) – a total surprise and pure magic. From there we catch up with family and friends in Brisbane, Burleigh and the Sunshine Coast before crossing into NSW for a memorable final night at the Jingellic Pub (a cracking night that also included a donation to a great cause).
We finish the journey back in Victoria at Rutherglen for Father’s Day, before finally rolling home after 80 days on the road.
This has been an absolute adventure – one that simply wouldn’t have been possible without the love, support and patience of our beautiful wives and families. Thank you.
It’s been a privilege to share this journey with you all.

Episode 17 of The Outback Tracks and Trails Podcast is live! This week we’re joined by a long-time mate of the boys, Mark Wheller. Mark has walked the thin blue line and worked as a mortgage broker. He’s passionate about three things above all else — golf, Bali, and Melissa (not necessarily in that order 😉). A proud member of the Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club, Mark and Melissa split their time between the championship Sandbelt courses and their Bali timeshares. We sit down for a proper yarn about career changes, the golf life, escaping to Bali, and what keeps him grounded. Expect plenty of laughs, a few life lessons, and the usual good banter that comes when old mates get together. 🔥 Drop a comment: What’s your favourite escape — the golf course or Bali? 👇
