Midge tries to get Joel to bring the kids to Miami but he says he is too busy. Joel got liquor license approved but is mad that Mei helped him and they get into a big fight. Susie helps get a new theater for Miss Julie after theirs falls through. Midge finds Shy beat up on the boat and learns he is gay.

Back home Joel and Mei have their first kiss. Carol teaches Midge about life one the road. Lenny Bruce and her parents Rose and Abe all show up in Miami to see Midge. Lenny and Midge go on a date, but decide to not end the date at his doorstep before anything happens.

Mei buys Joel a jukebox for his new club. Joel and Midge get drunk and married in Vegas, but decide to get divorced again when they wake up to the news.
