It Started With A Kick

Show Notes

Johnny Nicholson, who recently announced he was calling an end to his time at F365 after 26 years of weekly columns. which amounts to over 3,000 pieces. John’s first foray into football was to watch Middlesbrough take on Hull so it’s off to Ayresome Park we go in 1972, on what I assume was a foggy Saturday afternoon in September.

This week's guest is the first German we have had on this podcast, football journalist, Rolf Hessbruegge. Rolf is a Schalke fan and his father took him to his first match against bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund with the idea of making him a Dortmund fan, but it didn't work out that way.
