Recently, Kerryn was involved in a serious race fall. She fractured three vertebrae, with another displaced, and endured pain that required two hospital stays. We got to help Kerryn fill in one of her days while she recovers and we find out there is only one thing on her mind....'to get back on the track'.
In 2021, Kerryn became a member of the order of Australia (AM) for significant service to harness racing and it is a resume that we couldn't cover completely in this interview but to give you an idea-
Has driven nearly 4500 winners in harness racing – a world record for any female driver in the sport She became the first driver in Australasia – male or female – to achieve 300 wins in a single season, hitting a peak of 371 wins in the 2002/03 season. She repeated the 300+ wins in seasons 2004/05 and 2005/06. Was the first female driver to win a race both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres
