Are you packing away your fun along with your flip-flops? Summer is winding down. The days are getting shorter, routines are returning, work is ramping up, and suddenly we're back to schedules, responsibilities, and never-ending to-do lists. But here's my question: Why do we give ourselves permission to really LIVE in the summer, only to go back to managing life in the fall? You know that summer version of yourself? The one who says WHY NOT? more often. Who stays out later, calls friends spontaneously, explores new places, jumps in the water, and fills the calendar with experiences that make life feel exciting? I don't want to pack that woman away with my flip-flops. And I don't want you to either! In this episode of The Finding Fun Experiment, I'm sharing practical ways to keep your summer spirit alive, rediscover what makes you feel vibrant, and intentionally create more fun, laughter, connection, and adventure in your everyday life. Because having fun isn't just for vacations, weekends, or summer holidays. It's an important part of living a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life. What summer taught you about your fun: Identify the experiences, feelings, and behaviours that made you feel most alive.

🔥 Do You Still Have Fire in Your Belly? The 2-Minute Pulse Check to Find Your Spark Again When was the last time you felt really AMPED UP about something? You couldn't stop thinking about it. You were energized, curious, excited and thinking: “Ohhhhhhh, I LOVE this!” That's what I call Fire in My Belly. But how often are you actually feeling it? Sometimes we don't suddenly lose our spark, passion or vibrancy. We slowly stop noticing what creates it. In this episode of The Finding Fun Experiment, I'm sharing one of the simplest tools I use to figure out what is adding energy to my life—and what is taking it away: 🔥 The Fire in My Belly Pulse Check. It takes just two minutes at the end of your day, but when you do it consistently, you start collecting some pretty valuable data about YOU. Instead of only tracking your steps, sleep, calendar and productivity, you'll start paying attention to something we often overlook: What made me feel alive today? You'll learn how to spot the people, experiences and activities that create energy, curiosity, laughter and that “Ohhhh, I love this!” feeling. Not everything that drains you can—or should—disappear. Laundry still needs doing! But when you start noticing your patterns, you can identify what's repeatedly leaving you depleted, flat or dreading your day. Then you can ask: What do I need LESS of? And perhaps even: What do I need to stop doing altogether? This is where it gets fun. What do you need MORE of? More laughter? More nature? More movement? More people—or more solitude? More creativity? More adventure? More learning? More spontaneity? More FUN? Because what if you aren't simply lacking energy? What if you're spending too much of your energy on things that don't light you up—and not enough on the things that do? If this episode sparked something inside of you, share it with a friend who might need a little spark in their life right now.

Are you stuck in the same old, same old—work, responsibilities, errands, dinner, Netflix, phone, bed…repeat? Maybe you know you need something different, but you're too busy, too tired—or you don't even know what would be fun anymore. This episode of The Finding Fun Experiment is your nudge to get out of autopilot and intentionally put something into your life that makes you feel curious, excited, energized and ALIVE. Because a Fun Experience doesn't have to be a big vacation or extravagant adventure. It can simply be something you choose because YOU want to experience it. 🔥 1. Why Fun Experiences are good for your well-being. Discover the science behind enjoyable experiences—and why making room for enjoyment isn't frivolous. Research has linked enjoyable leisure activities with greater life satisfaction, positive emotions and engagement in life, as well as indicators of physical well-being. 🔥 2. How to actually FIND Fun Experiences. Don't know what you'd do even if you had the time? I'll give you 3 practical ways to find new experiences—from borrowing ideas from your friends to searching what's happening around you and discovering groups filled with women looking for new experiences too. 🔥 3. How to find YOUR kind of fun. Your Fun Experience doesn't need to look like anyone else's. I'll show you how to follow that little “fire in your belly” feeling—the curiosity, anticipation, excitement or even nervousness that tells you: Ooooooh…this could be FUN. This week, choose ONE Fun Experience. It has to pass three tests: You WANT to do it. You don't HAVE to do it. It gives you a little fire in your belly. 🔥 Book it. Put it on your calendar. Don't overthink it. Then notice: How did you feel before? During? After? Because maybe you don't need to wait for life to become less busy. ***Want more ideas for bringing fun, laughter, joy and vibrancy into your life? Are you feeling squished in the middle of your life? Maybe you’re raising children, supporting aging parents, managing a career, keeping a household running, maintaining relationships—and somehow trying to look after yourself somewhere in the middle of it all. Welcome to the Sandwich Generation. But what if the answer isn’t another productivity hack, better time-management system or longer to-do list? What if you need more fun, joy, spontaneity and time for yourself? In this episode of The Finding Fun Experiment, Treena Innes talks with Kim O’Hara, founder of Delicious Life, about why women so often put their own joy last—and how small acts of self-kindness, fun and “deliciousness” can help you reconnect with yourself.

Do you ever wonder, “How do I have more fun in my life?” or “How can I laugh more and feel more like myself again?” The answer might begin somewhere unexpected: Let yourself be celebrated. ❤️ If you’re the person who plans everyone else’s birthdays, organizes the gatherings, cheers everyone else on—and then says “Oh no, don’t make a fuss over me” when it’s your turn—you are not alone. In this episode of the Finding Fun Experiment Podcast, Treena Innes explores why so many women have a hard time being the centre of attention, receiving appreciation or allowing the people they love to celebrate them. And more importantly—what might we be missing when we continually say no? What if being celebrated isn’t about ego at all? What if it’s actually part of our Fun Health? ✨ Why being celebrated can create powerful feelings of connection, belonging and appreciation ✨ Why some women find it much easier to give than receive ✨ How decades of being the responsible one, the helper, the nurturer and the organizer can make receiving attention feel uncomfortable ✨ How constantly saying “Don’t make a fuss over me” may mean missing opportunities to feel seen, valued and connected The big idea? Being celebrated may be one more way to bring more fun, laughter, connection and aliveness into your life. When we make fun, laughter and play a must-have instead of a nice-to-have, life can feel brighter, lighter and healthier. Take one step toward allowing yourself to be celebrated this week.
