Brian Schirmer is the kind of writer you'd want by your side on an adventure. His recent Vault Comics book Quests Aside with Elena Gogou, Rebecca Nalty, and Andworld Design demonstrates a unique insight into adventurers and their ilk that we've never seen before, it's also hilarious. He joined us from his home in LA to chat about his favourite, well, you know the drill.

More from The Odds Pod
For our Xmas ep we interviewed my older bro - here’s the blurb;
PJ Holden is a Belfast based comic book artist. Known for his work on 2000ad and more recently for the graphic novel Bad Magic, based in Derek Landy’s Skulduggery Pleasant universe. He joined us to talk all things apocalypse and astonish us with what has to be the fastest pencil in the land!
In a special pre Thoughtbubble episode (where we’ll be doing our first ever live show!) we meet Chloe Green, one of the three (that’s right there’s only three of them!) festival directors! Chloe’s been hard at work with her colleagues putting the UK’s largest comic book featival and convention together - a job that as you’ll hear never really ends. Not only that but Chloe’s a creator too with a couple of books to her name. We talk life’s strange path (from bank desks to festival floors) and the rather unique bingo based game that helped her and her friends pass the time while in lockdown (hint it’s very apocalyptic-y).
Erica Schultz has bones of concrete and teeth of stone - but enough about her calcium intake! She’s written on some of Marvel’s greatest books with stints in X-23, Moon Knight, and Hallow’s Eve as well as her creator-owned books Deadly Bouquet and Cristabel. She joined us to talk about, well, just about everything!
Adam Cahoon is a comic book artist whose recent stint on Vault Comics The Nasty with John Lees has propelled him into horror comics stardom. He joined us from his home in California to talk painting, why a career in comics doesn't always have to be in isolation, and why we don't need another hero...
