For today's first episode of Justice Served, Carter Roy and Vanessa Richardson team up to discuss the beginning of a case that would haunt Los Angeles for decades: the murder of Sherri Rasmussen. They explore Sherri’s life, her new marriage, and the volatile love triangle unfolding just out of sight. What was initially labeled a burglary gone wrong quickly reveals deeper warning signs: obsession, jealousy, and investigative blind spots that shaped the case from day one. Four decades later, this episode examines how early assumptions and missed red flags set the stage for one of the most troubling failures of justice in modern true crime history.

For today's Throwback Thursdays episodes, Vanessa Richardson and Dr. Tristin Engels dive into the mind of Jack the Ripper, who remains one of the most infamous unsolved serial killers in history. His brutal crimes shocked Victorian London and continue to grip the true crime community today. Despite numerous suspects, modern forensic attempts, and over a century of investigation, the identity of Jack the Ripper remains unknown.
The Strangers was fiction. The Keddie Murders were real. In today's second episode of Conspiracies & the Unknown, Sabrina Deana-Roga and Corinne Vien revisit the 1981 massacre in Cabin 28: an unsolved crime that forever changed the true-crime landscape and gave rise to one of horror’s most terrifying films.
In 1945, the quiet village of Lower Quinton, England, was rocked by a brutal killing. Seventy-four-year-old Charles Walton was found dead in a field, pinned to the ground with his own pitchfork, his body marked in what looked like ritual sacrifice. Was it a crime of passion…or something darker? In today's first episode of Conspiracies & the Unknown, join Vanessa Richardson as she investigates one of Britain’s most chilling unsolved murders, where wartime paranoia, black magic, and folklore collide.
In today's second Unsolved Tuesday episode, Sarah Turney and Kourtney Nichole go back to October 1981, when 17-year-old Kurt Sova stepped outside a Halloween party in Cleveland to get some fresh air while his friend ran back in for their jackets. By the time that friend returned two minutes later, Kurt was gone. Five days later, his body was found in a nearby ravine, posed with his arms outstretched and both shoes missing, with no clear cause of death. Decades later, the police department that botched the investigation has been exposed for corruption.
