Show Notes
22 Acacia Avenue, what a killer track. And it’s Episode 22 of the Pod as well! Great weekend indeed. Been riding the wave of the recent “Pesta” EP and it’s release, as well as having Wacken Open Air announcing Mork for the 2021 festival. On top if this I got to have my second episode with the one and only Silenoz of Dimmu Borgir fame. This time though, we focus on his side project, the death metal entity of Insidious Disease. The new and second album recently dropped and thats a good time to dig into the dirt of that side of Silenoz’s life. Join us and enjoy! Merch: morkisebakke.no

Episode 33 is around! I got to sit down with Eirik «Billy Messiah» Nordheim this weekend. Just two buddies and some beers led to a 3 hour + conversation about Billy’s journey. From the early beginnings of punk rock, through Mayhem and on. Take the time and dive into this talk about the life of the Messiah! Enjoy! Merch: morkisebakke.no/shop
Episode 32! This time I got to sit down with my friend, Sina Winter, the man behind the Iranian Black Metal band From The Vastland. Sina is also something of a moviestar, being a huge part of the «Blackhearts» documentary. Join us as he tells the fascinating story about his life, from being an enemy of the state of Iran to being able to live in Norway, all in the name of Black Metal. Enjoy! Merch: morkisebakke.no/shop
Number 31 is around! And this has to be the most special one to date! As I have been told that Snorre Ruch never has done an in depth or long form interview before. That makes this episode and my podcast earth-shattering and ground-breaking! Haha, overkill? I think not! It was a great experience to visit Snorre, to listen to unreleased gems of music and to get to know this important character and innovator of Black Metal and art in itself. Join Snorre Ruch, Marius Vold, Harald Eilertsen and myself on the journey through the history of THORNS! For the FIRST time EVER! Merch: morkisebakke.no/shop
Episode 30! This time I decided to do something new. I joined Marius Vold and Harald Eilertsen (both original Thorns members) as we journeyed far and beyond to visit the one and only Snorre Ruch (Thorns), this last weekend. When I say far and beyond, I mean it too. About 20 hours total by car during that weekend. So, I figured, what the hell.. let’s try to do a “on the road” episode, to fill the time. Join us as we talk randomly whilst traveling the dark backroads of Norway. Merch: morkisebakke.no/shop
Episode 29 is around! I had the pleasure of getting to know the Norwegian Psychedelic Black Metal artist Woe J. Reaper of FURZE, this week. He reached out to me in the weeks prior, and finally we got around to it. A truly special artist in his own right, and with a crazy but tragic story to tell. Interesting lesson in the history of FURZE, told by the man himself! Enjoy! Merch: morskisebakke.no/shop
