Show Notes
This week we are joined by Josh from Yellow Skunk Farms in Virginia, United States. Josh has been building a regenerative indoor creek ecosystem that is enabling him to grow incredible plants and medicine in his garage.
The ecosystem itself features multi layered foundations of sand, silt and clay, a flowing creek into a pond and multiple planting holes of high quality soil. The system is built to be self-sustaining and has everything it needs, all working together.
Josh explains the process of starting this project and how important observation of natural systems has been in his journey to create this natural masterpiece. He uses it to grow medicine and has featured full daily updates on his social media channels - documenting the entire process online!
It was fascinating for me to find out more about this project and I am sure you will find lots of value too! If you enjoyed the conversation please consider subscribing and watching more episodes of the podcast.

More from The Shed Organics Show
I'm so pleased to welcome Adam from Collective Elevation in Montana on the show for this weeks episode...
What a pleasure to be joined by Rachael & Damian of Home Soil in Canberra, Australia.
In this episode I sit down with Andrew Cameron from Life & Land to talk about working with nature and what it actually means to steward the land in which we find ourselves while balancing that with our goals and lifestyle.
This episode I am joined by the extremely inspiring Maurice "Mo" Diaz or iGro Soil! Mo is a student of Matt Powers Regenerative Soil and Microscopy, and has excelled in his own right producing some top quality brews and educating his audience about them.
In this episode of The Shed Organics Show, I sit down with Matt Haggerty from Prospect Pastural & Natural Intelligence Farming to explore what happens when we stop trying to control nature and start paying closer attention to the intelligence already built into living systems.
