Show Notes

Welcome to our little corner of the film photography world! We’re Sissi Lu and Birgit Buchart, two friends and photographers from different parts of the world, now living and working in NYC. We met through our shared passion for film photography and are coming together on this monthly podcast to chat about creativity, and the messy, emotional process behind making images.

This episode is a little different: We are on a very important business trip together. :-)

At the height of the summer, we catch up and chat about our individual projects. Sissi has some exciting client work coming up and Birgit is about to head out to teach photography in Honduras with the KIOO project https://kiooproject.org/We slowly try to build some structure into our podcast, so we're introducing some segments this episode. We really loved all the questions we received from the community a couple of months ago and we revisit some we didn't get to last time. How do you curate your own work? What do you look for in your photos? How do you know when to stop editing? We don't have the perfect answer but we do have thoughts. :) We invite you to ask questions, share stories & photos via [email protected] or @bsphototime on Instagram.YOU CAN FIND US HERE: BS IG: @bsphototime - https://www.instagram.com/bsphototime/Sissi: @sissi_lu - https://www.instagram.com/sissi_lu/Birgit: @birgitbuchart - https://www.instagram.com/birgitbuchart/Music by: ⁨David Linard @https://www.instagram.com/linardnotes
