How To Have a Steadfast Hope In A Shaky World | Part 2

Adrian Rogers emphasizes the significance of the church as a restraint against evil and the role of the Holy Spirit in holding back Satan's power. He discusses the imminent return of Jesus Christ, asserting that while the exact timing is unknown, believers can find hope and assurance in the promise of His second coming. Rogers draws on 2 Thessalonians to encourage listeners not to be dismayed or deceived by current events, reminding them that the darkest times often precede the dawn of hope.

Rogers warns of the coming Antichrist, described as the "man of sin," who will embody the ultimate evil and lead many astray. He explains that the church, filled with the Holy Spirit, serves as a restraining force until the rapture occurs, after which lawlessness will prevail. He urges listeners to prepare spiritually and emphasizes the importance of sharing the gospel, as those who reject Christ before the rapture may find themselves unable to accept the truth afterward.

In conclusion, Rogers reassures believers that they will not be disappointed in their faith, as the ultimate victory belongs to Christ. He encourages prayer, soul-winning, and family preparation in light of the challenges ahead, highlighting the steadfast hope that believers possess in a world filled with uncertainty.

In this message, Adrian Rogers reveals how to have a steadfast hope in a shaky world.
