Dan Sultan joins Myf to talk about his new album, Little Miracles, a lush, orchestral record that he calls a watershed in his career. Made with songwriter and producer Guy Chambers, it was written in 12 days and recorded in 19. Dan explains how a voice note opened up a whole new part of his creative world and what it meant to finally feel “seen” as an artist. He also reflects on the harder years, his journey with mental health and sobriety, and the moment that connected it all.

More from The Moment with Myf Warhurst
Myf is joined by the brilliant journalist Marc Fennell, who has an incredible ability to find and platform the stories we didn’t even know we cared about. Marc is the host of Mastermind, No One Saw It Coming and Stuff the British Stole, and today he sits down with Myf to talk about his new documentary, State of Man. They dive into the culture of masculinity in Australia, how boys are led into the online world of the manosphere, and what hope we can have for a better future with better people in it.
After a heavy week in the news, Myf goes looking for good news: the newest residents of the Upper West Side (a rare family of barn owls nesting in Manhattan), Finland's 24 hour puppy live stream, and what we know about the Amy Winehouse West End musical. Myf also reveals the three actors in the running to be cast as the next James Bond, who won the 2026 Mercury Prize and Zara Larsson is in Myfs corner of the world at her local shopping center!
Two heritage Australian labels, Cue and Veronika Maine, have gone bust and stylist and author, Sally McKinnon, takes a quick break from Melbourne Fashion Week to join Myf to unpack what went wrong. They look at why the brands lost touch with the customers who grew up wearing them, how the casualisation of work and everyday life changed what we wear, and how fast fashion has changed what we expect to pay, making it impossible for locally made brands to survive.
TV broadcasting is subject to plenty of regulations, but when it comes to podcasting and the rise of YouTube content, it's the wild west out there. Myf is joined by comedian Simon Taylor to talk about his new Stan series The Sonny Disposition, a satire of the podcasting industry. They discuss how hard it's becoming to create satire when real life is already so absurd and how the loudest and most controversial voices are elevated by the algorithm, spreading dangerous misinformation, with almost nobody to stop it.
Amid the nationwide cost of living and student protests in Paris, the young New World Orchestra is playing classical music in the middle of the chaos and Myf deep dives how music can reframe how we see people fighting, disrupting judgement. She then covers the box office success of Nathan Fielder's Elizabeth Holmes documentary You Can See Everything, the results of Radio National's Top 100 Australian Books and the announcement that Girls is returning for a limited series in 2027.
