Show Notes
In this episode, Lorna tells us of a surprise trip back to Ireland for her best friend's 30th (how are we this old?), and how she will surprise everyone in the Rebel County. Beverly reveals the name of her horse from her teenage years and the drama that arose when she went to sell her. They dive deep into how the made a decision to go travelling South East Asia (SEA) after attending their favourite festival, Lost Village, and in turn breaking up with their long-term boyfriends to do so. Lorna admits her embarrassment when she arrived in Bangkok after packing a 22kg suitcase (which had 9 pairs of shoes!) to go 'backpacking' around SEA. The girls reminisce on their times on that side of the world and share memories and quotes which they took down in their notes app for the duration of their 5 months away. Hosted on Acast. More from The Ones That Got Away
The girls kick off this week’s episode by being incredibly disciplined and keeping their word, not only to themselves but to the Squirrels.
This episode kicks right in with some impressions from the absolutely brilliant movie, The Emperor’s New Groove, where Lorna is left almost speechless with how well Beverly impersonates one of the characters. If only Beverly could do other accents - is their any voice coaches listening who could help? Or any castings going for cartoons based in Cork?
Oh my godddd… the girls are BACK! After a 6-week break (it was 6 weeks, don't fact check us), Beverly and Lorna are finally reunited in the Perth and they are absolutely buzzing to catch up on all their adventures.
Oh my godddddd… it’s the Season 2 finale 🎉
This week’s episode kicks off with a wild story as Lorna shares how she and Beverly were the only ones to step in and help a guy caught up in a brawl over the weekend… seriously chaotic scenes.
