Show Notes
Wow, they actually did it. Wizards of the Coast actually banned more cards in Standard. This RCQ season is gonna feel fresh, but it's rough out there for folks who invested in a deck. The Spotlight Series comes to Hartford this weekend, and Gerry and Michael are ready with their Standard decks! Gerry is wielding his trusty Momo (although has tried plenty of other stuff), but meanwhile Michael has no idea what to play. He's looking at three mediocre options, but Gerry isn't trying to convince him that he should play Momo.
Gerry has been an Azorius Momo fan for a while, but only recently played it in a tournament for the first time. He won all his matches (at least the ones he played) and can't wait to talk about what makes the deck so strong.
Gerry and Michael played a Standard RCQ last weekend, but were they winners?
It's RCQ time! Reality Fracture is legal, so Gerry has been brewing. Is Gerry washed or is Tarmogoyf actually good?
