LOCKER ROOM: Julian Love

Julian Love reflects on his time playing with Quentin Nelson at Notre Dame, describing him as a standout player who exuded professionalism even at a young age. Love recalls being impressed by Nelson's maturity and skill, noting that he recognized Nelson's potential as a future Hall of Famer when they played together. He emphasizes the impact Nelson had on their team's performance, particularly during their sophomore year when their running back gained significant yardage thanks to the strength of the left side of the offensive line.

The conversation shifts to the dynamics within the locker room, particularly with the presence of multiple Notre Dame alumni. Love expresses excitement about the growing rivalry with USC and the camaraderie among the Notre Dame players on the team. He also praises the efforts of General Manager John Schneider, highlighting how Schneider's strategic moves have consistently improved the team and fostered a championship mindset. Love appreciates the proactive approach taken by Schneider in enhancing the roster, contributing to a positive atmosphere in the locker room.
