Charles Manson walked out of prison in 1967 after begging to stay, then landed under a parole officer who ran a government experiment. Within months he was living in Haight-Ashbury, the same place a CIA-linked mind control doctor was doing research on hippies. Coincidence? Tom O’Neill spent twenty years chasing that question for his book Chaos.
In this episode we go through what the book says about Manson, the CIA and MKUltra.
