107. Ascension Into Rest: A Sleep Meditation

Three times a year, the Jewish People ascended to Jerusalem in celebration of the three yearly festivals. I invite you to join me in this visualization meditation as the souls of the Jewish People meet as one as they are Oleh L'Regel, ascend by foot to the Beis Hamikdash, the Holy Temple of Jerusalem.

This is an advanced mystical meditation on the letters of the Torah, the Aleph Beis, as they are written by the soul in the mind's eye. Using a deeply engaging visualization, the listener is guided towards experiencing the D'Yo, the divine ink that flows from the energies of one's own toil in the pursuit of the Divine, and into the Kulmus, the spiritual quill, that allows the self to channel this energy into these holy letters, and into the Ineffable Name of the Creator.

This is a guided meditation to let go of past grievances, resentments, grudges, and hurt. Perpetuating the legacy and memory of Charlotte Herzberg, whose essence was seeing the good in every person, it offers the wonderful opportunity to free the self of the negative energies of past grudges that hold us down. This is a short meditation to create an inner Heichal, היכל in Hebrew, meaning palace. Within this palace, the body and mind are completely calm and still, and the soul is alone with its Infinite Source.

The Yiddish word Aibershter, literally meaning The Highest One, is the term used by Yiddish speaking Jews for hundreds of years when speaking of the Creator. This meditation dives into the letters of the Hebrew word with the same meaning - Elyon - עליון - and guides the listener to connect with one's own deeply personal relationship and connection with the Highest One, the One in constant control of everything that exists.
