Show Notes
Jackson joins Garrett and Sparky to unveil a bold new facial hair look, as the Dudes unveil their NFL Draft reactions with a “LOVE or LOATHE” game, where they call out the biggest winners and losers of the draft. Next it’s time to jump into NBA Playoffs talk and debate ‘Who is the GOAT: LeBron or MJ?’ They also hit NHL Playoffs and talk the #0 jersey curse - have you ever heard of it? Then MLB legend Andy Pettitte joins the show to talk about postseason dominance, the evolution of baseball, and what it really means to wear the Yankees uniform. From the old-school beard rule to modern bat flips and the hitter-friendly era, Andy shares his perspective on how the game has changed. He also dives into pitching in today’s game, the rise of stars like Paul Skenes, Tarik Skubal, and Shohei Ohtani, plus wild stories from Yankees vs. Red Sox battles (including THAT Pedro Martinez - Don Zimmer moment). The conversation gets personal as Andy reflects on his career, Hall of Fame candidacy, and his Almost Athlete moment. Andy is then joined by his sons Josh and Jared where the conversation turns to family, the outdoors, and some unforgettable hunting trip stories. The episode wraps up with a dramatic “Which Son” Game and a 2-minute warning hot take you didn’t know you needed.
