Welcome back my beautiful listeners to the One Guy One Roll podcast where I have had to take a little bit of a hiatus over the last month or so. As I have previously stated, it is always my intention to attempt publishing at least two episodes a month but due to work, a gaming convention and some personal family issues I have had to take a small break from the podcast. But with all of that resolved, I anticipate being able to return to the normal release schedule! Coming back to the podcast, I decided to return to where the whole thing started, Ironsworn: Starforged and the story of Nikora Sokolov aboard the Second Chance. Thank you so much for continuing to listen to the podcast and it feels great to be able to return to recording! The following paragraph will be a brief summary of what occurred during the episode and will contain some spoilers. So if you wish to avoid being spoiled, please skip it and continue on down to the last paragraph. Episode 38 kicks off with an audio log from First Officer James Savela of the prospecting spaceship Asha’s Tribute, where Nikora is currently scavenging for supplies and equipment. This recording details what Nikora assumes to be the final words recorded in the Captain’s Log (which is like a spaceship’s black box). The contents of this log details the discovery of what brought this strange fungal material to the vessel and the murderous rampage of a member of the crew. It also points Nikora to an experiment conducted on the fungus which gives him a potential idea about how he might escape from this predicament. Having to overcome various obstacles while navigating the prospecting ship and becoming concerned about a certain familiar blinking red light, Nikora finds himself down on the engineering level in front of a makeshift barricade blocking off the reactor room. He needs access to this room in order to potentially execute his desperate plan… perhaps made even more desperate due to the fact that he might not be totally alone. CONTENT WARNING: MÖRK BORG is a dark, brutal game which will be full of potentially disturbing (non-sexual) content and gory, graphic descriptions so listening discretion is advised! Hello my dear listeners and welcome back to the grimdark world of MÖRK BORG! Hard to believe that we are already starting Episode 4 of this series and I really do not have any plans to wrap it up soon. However, as always the dice rolls will dictate a lot of what will happen and where the story progresses. During this episode, we get to learn what happens when we complete an Adventure and how ‘leveling up’ works in MÖRK BORG. Qillnach also ends up in a potentially very dangerous situation that I am excited to see how it gets resolved next time! Hello my dear listeners and welcome back once again to the One Guy One Roll! I as always am your host, player, and GM Herocydides and I hope that y’all enjoy episode 3 of the lovely TTRPG MÖRK BORG with the Sölitary Defilement solo supplement. This episode sees Qillnach forced to try his hand at finding a source of food and water as his rations are running low. He also ends up in a nasty situation near the end of the episode and ends up piecing together a little bit more of his fractured memory in the process. I really hope everyone enjoys listening as much as I did playing through it! As always, thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to the podcast! Hello everyone and welcome to the One Guy One Roll podcast! After a rather lengthy hiatus due to a long planned vacation, an extremely busy period of work and just needing to take a break from content production, I have never been more excited and happy to be back with a fresh Season 5! I recently discovered that one of my favorite games, the Swedish doom metal inspired MÖRK BORG, has a solo rules supplement called Sölitary Defilement and I had to check it out and I was blown away with the quality. Inspired by Ironsworn, Sölitary Defilement has made this game the perfect fit for the One Guy One Roll podcast. I really hope that y’all enjoy listening to the newest season as much as I have enjoyed recording it. And as a brief note, MÖRK BORG is a dark, brutal game which will be full of potentially disturbing (non-sexual) content and gory, graphic descriptions so listening discretion is advised! As always, thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to the podcast! Your continued interest keeps me motivated to continue to produce content. Hello everyone and welcome back to the One Guy One Roll podcast! For one final time we are entering into the dark, haunting world of Lichdom as Vrakh, our favorite necromancer, finally gets to attempt the ritual of turning into a lich after a century of preparation. I really hope that y’all have enjoyed this mini series and if you have any recommendations for what you would like to be on the next episode, please do feel free to reach out through the Reddit post, Discord or via Patreon. We will likely be either returning to Ironsworn: Starforged or Ronin, but I am always open to other options. As always, thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to the podcast!
