In this Full Moon practice, I invite you into the magic of the night and a gentle shifting of perception. Each Full Moon, I offer this practice to help you stay connected to the lunar cycle and to your New Moon intentions — a way to remain spiritually nourished and supported as you move through your life.
This is a Moon for awakened awareness — our capacity to recognise signs, synchronicities, and guidance as they arise. Held within the tender, home-calling energy of a Cancer Full Moon, and the threshold time of the Omen Days, this practice offers a simple embodied invitation to soften, notice, and receive.
Together, we tend the heart and the hearth, listen to what the night reveals, and allow a subtle shift in perception to take root as the year ahead begins to unfold.
More from Wild Wisdom | The Pathway of Wonder and Awe
What is emerging in your life, and how might it reach beyond you? In this New Moon Practice, Michelle explores Emergence — the continual unfolding of life through change, relationships and the wisdom passed between generations. Through a personal story of animal rescue, we discover how one small act of care can shape lives across generations. Our practice invites you to honour your ancestors, reflect on what you wish to nurture and make room for a future that is still unwritten.
What wonder tales will we leave behind? In these Notes from the Pathway of Wonder and Awe, Michelle explores Earth time, ancient harvest traditions, the stories we inherit and the ways they shape how we see the living world. From the Cailleach to a tiny orphaned wallaby named Nettle, this is an invitation to consider what we will add to the inheritance of generations still to come.
Under the Full Moon, we honour those who came before us and the dreams, stories and wisdom they carried forward. In this practice, Michelle shares a childhood memory of her grandmother and invites you to create a simple ancestor altar, reflect on what you have inherited and contemplate the experience of wonder you dream of for future generations. What kind of ancestor are you becoming? And what can you carry forward, with love?
In this September New Moon Practice, Michelle explores wonder through the memory of a firewalk at Teotihuacan and the natural thresholds of dawn, dusk and midnight. The month’s practice is to spend time outside each day, attend to what becomes vivid, and carry a dream for future generations to the equinox, where it becomes a small flag offered to the elements.
What if we do not know when we are passing through the moments that change us? Inside Hagia Sophia, Michelle encounters the luminous presence of Mary, ancient Viking runes and worlds meeting across time. A reflection on spiritual wayfinding, the beauty of a thousand paths and how wonder can lead us through the Gateless Gate.
