Show Notes
Listeners, it is time to face our judgment. The Emperor has deemed us unworthy of our rules and points, and has blessed us to suffer mightily to earn our redemption. That's right, time to review the latest balance dataslate! Join Mitch and Scott as we run through the changes, our thoughts on what this means for the sisters, and where to go next. Finally - Mitch send his deepest, deepest apologies for the super long delay in getting this episode out. My personal life has been in utter shambles between a very rough patch at work combined with coordinating a house purchase & move, and our release cadence has suffered as a result. Expect more content very soon with a review of Champions of Faith!
More from Sister Act 40k
Scott and Mitch recap the wildest Sister Act 40k tournament outcome yet - a 1/2 finish at the 170 player Crucible GT in Orlando Florida in September! Join the dialoguys as they talk about their epic trip, including the 3 day, 7 round tournament, the finals showdown, and a bit of recap of 2 days exploring Disney World together before and after the event. And of course congratulations to Scott on the big supermajor win!
Join Mitch and Scott as they interview WTC 2026's penitent man - Jordan McGregor of team Australia! Only 4 teams brought sisters to WTC this year, with only one was from a seed one team, and the one list is GLORIOUS. Jordan brought a high aggro penitent host list absolutely packed with tech. Not only did Jordan go 5-1 in Warmasters (losing only in round 6), he also terrorised the teams event round after round. Tune in to hear the secrets of the penitent!
Mitch invites T Chambliss back on the show to talk about the July 2026 dataslate and the many blessings it brings to the sororitas! Together the duo talk about the general game changes, points changes, detachment changes, and sororitas rules changes, as well as our thoughts on where to take list building in this bold new era. As the Emperor-blessed genius behind the previous edition's Glorious Heavy Bolter Vahlgons in Army of Faith, T brings a fantastic set of melta-hot takes to the conversation. How we build lists and approach the game has been blown wide open, with at least 3 major detachments feeling highly viable with this new slate. Enjoy!
Scott returns from the 200 player GW Tacoma Open with a 5th placing for generalship and best overall! Mitch invites blessed show regular Brendan McKenzie to help interview Sister Act 40k's indomitable cohost. We talk through both the Tacoma run as well as Scott's earlier 5-0 first place finish at the Battle for the Capital. Brendan worked very closely with Scott on the lists, making for a fascinating and sharp conversation on the list evolution between the 2 events, the theory behind the unit choices and how to play Priority Assets. Scott also does a walkthrough of thirteen games across both events, and then tackles a whole host of Patreon questions. Enjoy!
11th edition has arrived and Mitch and Scott are here to talk about it! Join the dialogii as they dig into the full ruleset of the new edition for the very first time after taking a few weeks to build some first impressions. We walk through the impact of the core rules on our beloved ladies, the new detachments, the existing detachments, points changes, what we are excited to try out, and a truckload of Patreon questions! Lots to talk about, lots to experiment with, let's get going with 11th!
