Broadway Is My Beat, “The Morris Bernstein Murder Case” (episode 39), originally broadcast on CBS on June 16, 1950. Larry Thor stars as hard-bitten New York detective Danny Clover, with Charles Calvert as Sgt. Gino Tartaglia.
When bread-delivery driver Morris Bernstein is fatally beaten and his girlfriend, Leah Goldin, is badly injured, Clover follows a slim trail of clues into troubled tenement neighborhoods and a boys’ club above a garage.
