Show Notes
Happy Holidays, everyone! We've got a few announcements to round out the year. First, thank you to everyone who's reviewed, drawn art or shared the show with others — it makes our day every time. Now that Alba Season 2 is out, we're commencing work on the next six episodes of The Axe & Crown! Those will be on the way next year, so stay tuned to this feed. Meanwhile, if you haven't already, check out our actual play/improv comedy podcast, The End of Time and Other Bothers, set in the Alba universe and featuring some familiar voices. We've just released Episode 15, our holiday special, and we'll be back on our every-two-weeks schedule starting January 13. Finally, please check out our Patreon page for more Alba content. Patrons at all levels get our Farlorian Fridays bonuses, which will include episode commentaries, sound effects and music breakdowns, and lots more. And $5+ patrons can hear bonus scenes specially recorded during our Alba Season 2 studio days! AND if you become a $5+ Patreon donor before January 1, we will send you a beautiful new sticker with art by Katharine Green depicting Blat, Darcy and Eggerton, stars of The End of Time and Other Bothers! Thank you once again for listening. We wish you the very best in 2019. See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
More from Alba Salix, Royal Physician
If you're an Alba Salix listener, chances are you've at least heard of Greater Boston – in fact, you've probably heard some of the voices of Greater Boston, including its creators Jeff and Alexander as well as one of its characters. Greater Boston follows the wild, improbable interweavings of family and infuriating co-workers and politicians and robot designers – not to mention a subway line that somehow manages to secede from the rest of the city. The show's fourth season is now rolling out, and there's no better time to catch up or have a re-listen!
This week we're bringing you a preview of a brand new show from Roi Gold Productions, and one of the latest additions to the Fable and Folly Network: The Land Whale Murders! Billed as "A Gilded Age Satire of Birders, Murders and a Missing Whale", the series is set in 1896 in New York, where a band of scientists called the Four Elementals find themselves battling evil and organized crime, in the form of Pirate Penny and the Blow Hole Gang – but things get strange fast, and then get even stranger even faster. If you like your comedy fast, witty and totally absurd, with a side order of alternate-history romp, check out The Land Whale Murders anywhere you listen to podcasts – or visit landwhalepod.com.

This week, we're bringing you another new podcast we think you'll enjoy: The Wanderer.
We'd like to introduce you to a wonderful new fantasy audio fiction series: Of Fae & Fiends. Lizzie (10) returns to her ancestral home in Maine to make an amazing discovery: the woods behind the farmhouse contain a doorway to the mystical realm of Faerie. But a dark storm looms over the horizon of Fae: Lizzie’s Great-Uncle Carlow has enlisted a goblin army to conquer the World Tree, and has set his sights set on our world after… All that stands in Carlow’s way is Lizzie and her unlikely friends: a talking goat, and a swordfighting weasel. Written and produced by audio drama pioneer Fred Greenhalgh (The Dark Tome, The Cleansed), Of Fae & Fiends is a Faerie Tale with teeth – a place where monsters sometimes eat children, but the courageous can fight back. A listening experience for the entire family (recommended ages 7+). New episodes are dropping weekly! Look for "Fae and Fiends" wherever you get your podcasts, or visit faefiends.com.
