Let Us Pray

Volume 2 - If You Had Been Here

Let Us Pray

Show Notes

Most of us have faced a problem so beyond our ability to fix that somewhere beneath it lies a question we're almost afraid to ask: Will God come through? In this episode, we explore those moments when we're not sure we'll like the Lord’s answer. Drawing from John 11, we look at two sisters, Mary and Martha, who loved Jesus and were devastated when He didn't show up the way they hoped. Then we’ll pray together for the courage to bring our requests to God and for the trust to receive whatever He gives.

Scriptures referenced: John 11:21, 32

In today's world, gentleness is often mistaken for weakness. But what if it's one of the most powerful things we can offer to those around us? In this episode, we look at Isaiah 40 and John 8 to discover just how tender, careful, and unhurried the Lord really is—and what radical gentleness can do in our own lives and in the lives of others. Then we’ll pray together for the art of gentleness to flourish in a world that rarely models it.
